This was one of my Competition paintings from last year's Olmsted Plein Air Invitational. I loved painting this up until the massive swarm of no-see-ums showed up and attacked myself and Cynthia Rosen who was painting near me. Quickest packing up in the field to get out of there ever! I have made a few slight revisions since "Jekyll Trees" was shown last year.
