30” x 40” painting size, Oil on Linen Panel
This piece is one of the most personal to me. Growing up around coastal South Georgia, Sidney Lanier's Marshes of Glynn was like an anthem, and I always think of it when the Sidney Lanier Bridge leading into Brunswick sweeps my breath away. My Dad used to say he would drive 30 miles out of the way to drive over that bridge. This painting is an homage to my him, who now, I feel sure, soars above the Marshes of Glynn.
