This is a studio painting from a plein air I did on the Tuckaseegee River. This is a beautiful place I enjoy hiking to. The hike is two miles along the river. It is well worth the effort of carrying my supplies in my back pack. I am rewarded with deep pools of water and magnificent waterfalls. I am intrigued by the rocks underwater.
