This painting is inspired by several paintings I have done along the Cullasaja River , one of my favorite Ppaintings spots. To the right of this little tree is a lovely waterfall that attracts lots of visitors. I decided to focus on the young tree and the little trickle of water beside it. This is a good example of why artists can return to the same spot over and over and find something new and interesting to paint.
