Sunset in the Park was painted en Plein air on a beautiful evening in April 2022.
This was my demo for the nocturne paint out during Olmsted Invitational in Olmsted Linear Park. I pushed the pink tones in this painting as I often do to evoke an impression of the beauty in this experience.
