Olmsted Assciated Park: Acadia Natl' Park, Thunderhole area, Mt. Desert Island, Maine
This painting was completed in the late Summer in 2022. It is a painting of the Thunerhole area of Acadia National Park...looking towards Otter Point. I wanted to evoke both a specific sense of place and a narrative of nostalgia. It shows a boy amongst the rocks and waves looking out at the wonder and majesty of land and sea.
