I painted this as a demonstration piece during the Plein Air Convention in North Carolina in 2024. The day was intermittent rain and clouds at Darnell Farms. We all had such a lovely day painting along the river. It's a sentimental piece for me as it was the last painting my dear friend and long-time studio mate, the late Camille Przewodek, witnessed me paint.
