I wanted to paint a sunset during the Olmstead show, but I had no idea where to go to see anopen vista of the sky where I could stand and work, everywhere I had been there were trees blocking the view. I met a new friend while painting in the neighborhood and he mentioned that he walked a lot and knew a lot of good vistas. Maybe he now is sorry he said that because I have been texting im everyday!!! What a boon he has been! I asked him a few days ago where I could view the sunset? He imediatly sent a link for a parking garage! It came with a great view of the Atlanta Skyline! It took trudging up there three nights to see a good one but the effort was worth it. When a big city's lights come for the evening it always reminds me of JEWELS! I had to put the lights in the next morning as it at twas too dark to see by the time I finished painting the sky and buildings. If you want to see a light show, that is 100% free, just remember to LOOK UP at twighlight! Even if they all are not all a painitng waiting to happen, they never disapoint!
