Actual size of "Rising Moon" is 2" x 5-7/8". Originally this was painted one afternoon at another plein air competition alongside my friend and painter Krystal Brown. There were many peacocks on this property strolling around and it was magical. I have shown this painting in its original form numerous times but was never satisfied with it so I decided to transform it to a nocturne.
