One day, just had I realized the forecast lied about stormy weather, I was walking along the Roswell River walkway and saw this scene. With limited time I captured fluffy clouds over a shadowed marsh. Geese and egrets played in the water as I worked. The next day I had planned to come back and finish it but the clouds once again rolled in and flashes of rain fell. I finished this painting in the overcast light, remembering the calm of yesterday.
