While painting my quick draw in Winn Park, a man stopped by to ask about the possibility of an artist painting his historic home. After taking a look -- I said yes. We decided on the size and that's how I spent a long afternoon -- painting away capturing it to the sounds of their grandkids playing in the backyard pool. I have a a feeling if this hadn't been on the last day of the competition, there might have been a lot more people interested in a portrait of their beautiful homes. The painting was very well-received. They love it! Atlanta is full of gorgeous homes and settings.
