The undeniable strength of the iris is something to behold! Even I, burdened with the most un-green thumb, cannot disturb the resilience and desire of the iris to grow and expand. The petals, seemingly delicate, defy that verb like a force of nature. The dark rich, royal purple,contrasted against the white of the house behind it, evokes themes of endurding HOPE against the everyday struggle of the human existence. I know, that is a lot for a simple flower.
