This place, one of my favorites which I have painted many times, is appropriately call Sunset Park. while it is the same location, the motif is NEVER the same! It is a go-to place for endless variety and color! This time I focused on the instant when the sun is coming through the trees at the far side of the pond. I love the way the light is so powerful that it literally "eats up" the trees, any branch you can see is the color of the light itself.
