The winding trail through Point Lobos in Carmel is a truly unique place. It's full of endemic species of flora and fauna, and the history goes back to the whaling and fishing industry of Monterey bay. The painting history is also just as rich - California impressionists first painted this place on her a decade ago. Some trees and compositions can still be spotted from the old paintings. This spot, Blue Fish Cove, in particular is a natural vista for a landscape painter.
