The southwest desert is incredible. For a painter, it's a dream. Crisp and graphic shapes to play with, and strong contrasting colors. This scene comes from a trip last summer into the valley, and extreme weather conditions turned the light in a hourly spectacle. It rained and snowed then became windy hot, all in one day. Variety is nice!
