Grapefruit and Yellow

One morning while making breakfast for my family, I glanced over at some grapefruits I had cut in half and was going to squeeze for juice. The light that hit them imspired this painitng about yellow. My family was pleased that I still served them the grapefruit juice and went back to the same store (right color) I had gotten these lovelies from and built a still life. Clearly, in their lives, they have had times when the fruit or vegetable looked so good that it had to be painted instead of eaten. These would be marked noticeably with a sign that read "PLEASE DON"T EAT THE STILL LIFE!"
