I was pulled out of bed by this soft, warm glow just beginning to rise over Midtown Atlanta. It felt fleeting, like one of those moments that could disappear if I waited too long. I wasn't trying to describe the city as much as respond to that sudden burst of color, when the morning first announces itself.
