"Cotton and Trees" is a collaboration composed from different locations. The original painting of the trees, sky and little farm houses was painted on site in Pennsylvania. Originally the foreground was dirt with rows of some crop waiting to grow. The tree line was so reminiscent of some cotton fields I had seen in the past I decided to add the cotton in. I wasn't sure it was gonna work, but in the end, I liked how they felt truly married to each other. "Cotton and Trees" is 2-9/16" x 7-7/16"
