I feel as one with the ocean when I paint it. I am definitely drawn to the waters edge to paint the craggy coastline. Observing the ceaseless curling waves I marvel at the courage of the rocky cliffs to to stand resolute in the firmness of their purpose; to separate the land from the sea. Whenever it is safe enough I love to clamber over the edge, find a place to stop for a breath and feel the spray on my face.
