Up there on the top of my best experiences painting was playing at my easel in the lavender fields of Provence. Can't call that working.This piece was just done in my studio as I try to squeeze in a trip back there during the very short season in the south of France. I loved painting in this field on a prior trip. The cabanon, the mountains and fields being harvested right then. So special!
