I painted this at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens just before the rains came. This piece captures a fleeting moment when light streamed through the landscape, illuminating the winding path, ornamental grasses, and vibrant shrubs. The backlit scene, framed by a distant pine, evokes the quiet stillness and subtle glow that often precede a storm -- a tender pause before nature shifts.
