I was listening to a lot of Irish songs about times of war, like "The Green Fields of France," "The Fields of Athenry," and "The Town I Loved So Well," while making this picture. While I set out to make an arrangement with cattle - a simple arrangement with cows, what I saw while working was a newly departed person joining others who have gone on before, sunlight everywhere and filling all things.
