After dinner we steeped outside. The sky was the most beautiful color of indescribable blue. It's cool darkness made the lights from the street businesses ever more brilliant. The air was fresh with a slight breeze, I needed to commit this feeling to memory until I could get it in front of my easel! I wonder how many folks have walked these streets before I did and what was the drama playing out in their story at the time? Life goes on and the echoes of their footsteps are chronicled in the cobblestone.
