"Whispering Clouds" was originally part of a larger marsh painting. Never being quite happy with it and reworking it over and over again I decided to cut it, which is the nice thing about working on panel. The original painting had more marsh on the bottom and it was competing so much with the sky. Cutting the bottom proportion of the marsh off immediately gave the painting, a more quiet and soft feel. The actual size of "Whispering Clouds" is 4-7-32" x 18"
